This will establish a left side and right side of a ditch for your strip to slide through as you are sewing strips together. This is more than a seam guide on the right of your sewing foot.

You will find that you can adjust this tool to any width of strip that you are working with. You can even choose the seam allowance width.

You can apply the tool and remove it after you have completed your sewing and it will be ready to reapply the next time you need it. It comes with a lint protector to store your tool while not in use.
